Dear Wolfgang,

My cordy is dead beacuse of very wet conditions not from cold. There were much rain when I was making the cover around it, so I think is rotted under mulch. The absolute minimum was -16-17 in the last two winters. One of my friend has a big Cordyline in a colder area than mine, he covering only with some straw and light foil. It is still living for years.
