Don't be so sure Thomas. You know th county of Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden also will plant Musa bAsjoo outside next year. They also got figs there, figs from the snowy mountians of Albania. I got some cuttings from them this fall I just had to give them some bulgarian windmill palms. One year they had Cupressus Sempervirens but some dumb teenagers killed it.
They also got agapanthus,hibiscus,ginkgo,cedrus,platanus and wineyards!!

And in a few years they also got palm trees!
