Coconut Palms normally start in the Cape area:

I don't know about inland...but along the East Coast of Florida, normally I don't think you would see coconut palms until you reach Cape Canaveral. I pass through the area most winters, and you have to be from the Cape south before you see coconut palms. From what I understand they really don't even like temps below 50 F for average lows, so that confines them to coastal central Florida south.
Normally, around Cape Canaveral you'll see smaller ones here and there:
