I have never seen a M. cerifera around here, either in the ground or for sale. I was under the impression it was a 7b plant. That looks like it would have had to have been there for a long time (30+), and must have endured many negative temps to be that big here. Is it possible it is a freak M. pennsylvanica? If it is hardy here, it is going on my wish list!
