A lot of good info. Only part I might disagree with is the statement that Trachycarpus does well on sandy soil in north Florida.
My impression is that T. does not do well in NE Florida but does better in heavier soils further west. Maybe some Florida people will know the score on this one.
The website has a lot of other cool stuff, including a video of Camellia japonica in its natural habitat.
