Nice pics, Stan.

I'm always amazed at what will grow side by side out west. Very different from what will survive in the east.

A few years ago, I was in Napa Valley and I saw some Queen palms. They were not happy, but surviving. Not warm enough. About a quarter mile away, someone had a Colorado Blue Spruce. Again, not happy, but surviving. Not cold enough. I had a hard time believing that these two species could survive in the same area/climate.

Keep posting interesting pics. Everything here is pretty much brown and grey right now. Of course, I have southern mags, palms and gardenia that are green. They're enjoying record warmth. 72F today! If I can keep the deer from eating my gardenia, I'll be ahead of the game.

Take care,

Ken
