Hallo!

Here are some photos about a Phoenix dactylifera which is located in Mali Losinj, Croatia. Last year, I spent my holiday in Island Losinj.
I saw this palm tree with full of fruits, so I tried to eat it. It was tasty but bad quality and with no seed inside. Obviously, this was cross-pollinated by the other Phoenix canariensis trees. Anyway, it is interesting. I read that the Date palm needs at least 3000 hours/year sunshine to develop edible fruits and in Losinj there are only 2700 hours.
