Thanks for the fig photo anyway! It has wonderful and extraordinary leaves! I'll try to germinate from different types of pulled figs. I found 4-5 types and one 'mini' in markets from Israel, Iran and Turkey. I think you will never get any fruits from that fig tree you growing from seeds, because the seedlings become only male or female! I read this in an old Hungarian fig-book.
I don't know anything about that torreyi. I'll try to visit that yucca garden in a nice late fall day in november. After I can tell you anything about it. I am sure that is still living. It should be...
