Bernie, yes out coastal location is perfect for Cordylines...and phoenix C. too. The bug across the street is my bug, w/it's oringial petina. The shiny VW is actually owned by this gentlemen (original owner).....he's 85 Years old.

Here's some art work that a friend has created out of old metal. His VW is a 1955 oval window.....a Eureka foggy day image. The palm and half moon is the state flag logo of South Carolina. Enjoy.

Looking across the street at Humboldt Bay, on a stormy November afternoon.

A flowering apple tree in early November. Spring or Fall at 40N lat? This tree is also located at the southern Humboldt bay water front (in the village of King Salmon).

What happens in a maritime/Mediterranean zone 10a.
Confused trees and plants will often just flower out at any time of the fall, winter or spring.(when rainfall is abundant). Interesting to see indeed.
